Hawzah News Agency- A meeting was held in Parachinar, Kurram Province of Pakistan. According to sources, more than 100 people from both sides (Shia and Sunni) participated in the meeting.
According to the senior police officer of the Kohat region, the elders of all the tribes agreed that the ceasefire in Parachinar, Kurram Province would continue indefinitely.
After individual and group meetings with both sides and long consultations that lasted several hours, the members of the meeting agreed that the ceasefire in Kurram Province would remain in place indefinitely.
It is worth noting that in this agreement, the parties acknowledged that war or conflict cannot be the solution to the existing problems and that a permanent and sustainable solution to this issue that has been going on for decades will take time, but it requires sincerity and trust from all the parties involved.
The parties also pledged to be present in Kurram Province for a bright future for their children and to establish peace in the region, to achieve lasting peace and to take this message of peace to their regions. They emphasized that in any case, the sovereignty of the state will be guaranteed.
